I have posted a query on the main Forum but have not had any responses.

I have a great Uncle Christian Henrick Myhre who we have a record of written in 1920 in Norway saying he 'died in South Shields'.

We don't know when.

We think he may have arrived in England on board the SS Courier into Hull in 1857. A similar name appears in an 1861 Census in the parish of Elswick St Paul Newcastle Upon Tyne possibly 195 Glouceser St?

I'm trying to find any work, hospital or court records, electoral rolls, probate to establish what he may have done - anything?

Seem to have hit a brick wall.
